The LD1 is a self-contained LED control unit featuring an electronic ambient light sensor for automated on-off control and an adjustable brightness feature. It has an internal rechargeable Li-Ion battery that is re-charged through the Micro USB charging port of the LD1. Any 5 volt USB charger with a micro USB cable can be used to charge the unit. The circuitry has very low current consumption, giving the unit the ability to light the LEDs for up to several weeks between charges, depending on your brightness setting.
Designed to control guide lights for a lighted pet ramp, you can find many various uses for the unit. The LED strings that are supplied with the LD1, are waterproof, opening up myriad opportunities for lighting projects.
Speaking of LEDs… The LED strings we supply are warm white in color. They are softer on the eyes with less blue light than in “white” LEDs. The color is calming and less intrusive, for subtle nighttime area illumination. The integrated brightness control makes it simple to adjust the illumination to just the right level.
The LD1 is simple to install, with only four external connection, plus the integrated charging port.
